Mental Health Therapist

Mental Health Therapist – Thrive in a Collaborative Group Practice
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, plus occasional weekends
Salary: $55,000–$85,000/year
Start Date: March 2025

Why Join Our Group Practice?

Joining a group practice allows you to focus on what truly matters: your clients. When therapists are freed from the administrative burdens of running a solo practice—like billing, marketing, and office management—they can dedicate their energy and expertise to delivering high-quality care. This translates to better outcomes for clients, who benefit from:
  • Undivided Attention: Therapists in a group practice can prioritize their clients without the distractions of running a business. This focus enhances the therapeutic relationship and allows for deeper, more effective work.
  • Access to a Team Approach: Clients benefit from a collaborative environment where therapists can consult with and learn from one another, ensuring the best possible care for complex issues.
  • Continuity and Consistency: Group practices offer the stability and resources to support long-term treatment, which is critical for addressing issues like sex, porn, and betrayal trauma.
For therapists, this model provides mentorship, collaboration, and the opportunity to engage in challenging, meaningful work with the full support of an experienced team.

Job Description

We are seeking compassionate and motivated therapists to provide therapy to individuals and couples dealing with sex, porn, and betrayal trauma. Our treatment approach integrates various evidence-based and creative methods, including:
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Art Therapy
  • EMDR
  • Addiction Therapy
You’ll engage in long-term therapy, often working with clients over 3–5 years. This allows you to build deep, transformative relationships while leading both individual sessions and group therapy.

Candidate Requirements
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work (LMSW/LCSW) or LMHC/LMFT with six years of post-graduate supervised experience.
  • Ability to see individual clients 20–30 hours per week.
  • Commitment to lead 1–2 group therapy sessions per week.
  • A passion for serving diverse populations and addressing complex client needs.

Perks of Our Group Practice
  • Time to Focus on Clients: By handling administrative tasks like billing, insurance, and marketing, we allow you to concentrate fully on your clients’ needs and growth.
  • Built-In Mentorship: Our seasoned clinicians provide ongoing supervision, training, and support, helping you refine your skills and tackle the most challenging cases.
  • Collaborative Environment: Be part of a team where ideas and strategies are shared, and collective problem-solving happens.
  • Flexibility: Schedule your office hours around your life.
  • Comfortable Work Environment: Our office is spacious, modern, and designed to inspire.
  • Convenience: Enjoy free off-street parking and intuitive electronic health records, email, and phone systems.

Benefits*
  • Health and dental insurance contributions.
  • Comprehensive CSAT (Certified Sex Addiction Therapist) training and supervision to help you develop expertise in treating sex, porn, intimacy, and trauma-related issues.
  • Professional development funds to support your interests and growth.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

In a solo practice, therapists must juggle client care with administrative demands, which can detract from the quality of therapy and limit time for professional growth. At our group practice, you’ll enjoy the freedom to focus exclusively on your clients, backed by a team that handles the logistical work for you.
This means you’ll have more energy and attention to dedicate to your clients, leading to deeper therapeutic relationships and more meaningful outcomes. Additionally, our collaborative environment fosters growth and innovation, allowing you to deliver care informed by the collective knowledge and experience of a supportive team.
Join us, and experience a career where you can truly focus on making a difference—one client at a time.
