CSATs agree: The 30 Tasks of Recovery Map works!
“The 30 Tasks of Recovery Map has added a powerful visual for clients to organize themselves around and to see that hope and healing are possible. Since adding Maps to my waiting area and conference rooms, clients have commented frequently about how much they appreciate seeing them. I am delighted with how quickly this tool has added to the professionalism of my practice."
—Dr. Kenneth M. Adams, Ph.D., CSAT-S, Fully Licensed Psychologist, CSAT Facilitator
“I bought this great tool and placed it in my office. I have not only showed it to the sex addict, but also to their partner in separate sessions because it helps the partner to understand where the addict is in the tasks. It brings up many discussions and realizations that help them conceptualize the process. It’s all there in easy to read color-coded blocks. I truly am grateful for this tool."
—Pamela Kohll MS, LMHC, CSAT-S, CCPS, CHFP New York Counseling of Sexual Treatment & Recovery
"I like how the 30 Tasks of Recovery Map conceptualizes the complete journey. Having a strong visual of the three-to five-year recovery treatment protocol makes clients aware of the commitment of time and work that’s being asked of them."
The 30 Tasks of Recovery Map grew out of our desire to provide a way for our clients to visualize the program, every time that we met. Not only has it proven to be very useful when describing the program to new clients during an initial evaluation/intake, the more we use it, the more use my colleagues and I find for it.
We are pleased to make the 30 Tasks of Recovery Map available to our fellow CSATs who understand and embrace the importance of doing this work with integrity.
